DOMUS
The half-dozen songs on this CD-EP are largely instrumental
and add up to a mere dozen minutes, and leave the impression
that these are a bunch of extra exercises that the prolific
Elliott didn't fit onto his
full-length releases. They're a little more in the synth-pop
mold than much of his other stuff, and OK as lighthearted
ambient pieces, with some pretty searing and buzzing riffs
offset by more angelic tones. It's
eclectic within its limited playing time, with passages bearing
casual resemblances to Philip Glass, surf music, Christmas
cheer, and more... -Richie

NOVUS
DOMUS uses vintage keyboards sounds for awesome Eno/cluster/Kraut-rock
vibes.
HEAVEN-HI HEL-LO has George playing some really
pretty, sophisticated pop-rock (a couple of covers but mostly
amazing originals) and it is impressive, quirky, and inspiring.
